BLANC EXPRESSION by Steven Geddes
3 to 8 July 2009
77 Redchurch Street, London E2

"I think Steven's work is stunningly beautiful" Stuart Evans, curator Simmons & Simmons Collection, formerly Chairman of the Tate's Patrons of New Art and Turner Prize juror

This exhibition is the culmination of 12 months work by ceramic artist, Steven Geddes. The show comprises a selection of unique porcelain vessels and his iconic porcelain skulls. A graduate of the London College of Fashion, Steven has always had a passion for surface design and texture. The raw, delicate surfaces of his pieces combined with his sensitive use of materials, from French porcelain to the unique glazes he makes by hand are characteristic of Steven's work and are the underlying theme of this show.
