Thomas Gibson Fine Art took part in the fair for the first time, showcasing work by Rina Banerjee and Raquib Shaw to coinside with the fair's chosen focus country, India as well as works on paper by Giacometti and Matisse.
The fair started with a palpable sense of tension owing to the worldwide recession but ended with good sales results and widespread satisfaction about how things went, the first major international fair in 2009.
